One Year Anniversary

Back in May, I were had a surprise session scheduled for this beautiful couple to capture some memories for their one year wedding anniversary... Well it poured that day, and we decided to reschedule. It was no longer a surprise, so Taylor and I started chatting on possible dates and sessions. We thought a sunset session would be the best. To be honest, I wasn't sure how the session would turn out...I was going to a park I had never been to and sunsets are not the easiest to work with, but WOW....this session captured everything and more. Taylor and Brad were more than willing to try anything I suggested, which made this session AMAZING! Thanks guys for a great night!

Despite the forecast, I decided to keep the session as planned. The weather turned out great, and lasting memories we captured.

I have special bond with this little guy! First off because he is my nephew, but also because I got to document his birth! I remember my sister calling me telling me it as time. Being her fourth baby, we didn't think the labor process would take very long.......

Let's just say after several hours of intense labor and without pain meds, this little man entered into the world. He is such a sweet little man!

This little angel is growing up too fast! I cannot believe she is turning ONE in just a few short weeks. Where did the time go? I can remember her mommy telling me she was expecting like it was yesterday. I have watched her grow into this little explorer that never wants to sit still. I look forward to capturing more smiles of this chunky monkey! Happy "Almost" First Birthday Jordan!

For the past year, I have been working on creating a business that I built with the passion I discovered with having two little ones. I started off taking candid snap shots of my beautiful babies, and after sharing my work with family and friends, my loved ones pushed me to take my new found passion and create a business.

At first I thought they were crazy! I had just received my Master's Degree in Leadership for Education. Since I was a little, my dream was to be teacher. I accomplished that dream by going to college and getting my teaching degree in 2009. I got a great teaching job that January and things we going just as I had planned. After having my first child, I decided I wanted a camera to document her life: the good, the bad, and of course the ugly! By the time my second child came into my life, the camera was attached to my hip. I wanted to capture every moment. It was then my new passion took on a whole new meaning!

I started booking small shoots and with in a few months, God opened up so many opportunities!

I look forward to continuing my new business and using the gifts God has given me to capture moments that can be cherished by others! My vision is simple-I want to capture the moments that you never want to forget!
